Meet Francisco Mendez

Francisco Mendez is the founder of DMF Agency, a financial services professional, retired U.S. Army veteran, husband, and father who believes that financial planning should start with something simple: understanding what matters most to you and your family.

Before entering the financial services industry, Francisco spent more than 22 years serving in the U.S. Army. Throughout his career, he worked in leadership, training, and advisory roles that gave him the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and walks of life.

One experience in particular helped shape his path after military service. Francisco was selected to serve as a Casualty Assistance Officer, helping military families navigate the difficult period following the loss of a loved one.

Through that experience, he saw firsthand how an unexpected event could affect a family emotionally and financially. It reinforced something he continues to believe today: we may not be able to predict what life will bring, but we can take steps to prepare for it.

That belief became part of the foundation for DMF Agency.

Francisco holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and a Master's degree in Management from the University of Phoenix, completing his graduate education in 2017. As a licensed insurance professional, he focuses on helping individuals and families better understand financial protection and retirement strategies so they can make informed decisions based on their own needs and goals.

Francisco also believes financial conversations don't need to be complicated or intimidating. His approach is centered on education, listening, and helping people understand their options in plain language.

Outside of business, Francisco is a husband and proud father of one. Family has always been at the center of his life and is one of the reasons behind the philosophy of DMF Agency.
